Heavenly Father, Today we come before You with open hearts, knowing that You are our Great Physician. You see every hurt we carry—the pain that others can see and the pain we keep hidden. We ask You to heal our bodies, our minds, our hearts, and our spirits. Bring comfort to those who are hurting, hope to those who feel lost, and strength to those who are tired of carrying their burdens alone.
Lord, we pray for healing beyond ourselves. Heal the divisions in our families, our communities, our country, and our world. Where there is injustice, give us courage to speak. Where there is inequality, give us the strength to stand for what is right. Where people feel unseen, unheard, or forgotten, help us be the hands and feet of Your love.
Remind us that every person is created in Your image and is worthy of dignity, compassion, and love. Help us not only to pray for justice, but to live it. Not only to ask for peace, but to be peacemakers. Not only to welcome people into our church, but to make sure every person truly feels that they belong.
As we prepare for Back to Church Sunday, Lord, let our church be more than a building people walk into. Let it be a place where broken hearts find healing, where the lonely find belonging, where the hurting find hope, and where every person knows they are loved. And when we leave the church doors, help us carry Your healing, Your justice, and Your love with us into the world. We ask all of this in the name of Jesus, our Healer, our Hope, and our Savior. Amen.
