Crossroads Community Church was founded by four couples in 1991 who were dreaming of a church that could connect with people who were uncomfortable with traditional church.
The church began by focusing on providing a contemporary, relevant Sunday morning worship experience that encouraged both believers and people seeking God for the first time. In the early years Crossroads met in rented facilities in the South Lyon community.
Crossroads Christian was started as a Preschool in 2009 by Crossroads Community Church to further their mission to Love God, Love People and Live the Good News. In 2012 the preschool license was extended to provide day care for children birth though 5 years. In 2015 the church added a shared space on to the building to accommodate Crossroads Christian Early Eductation and Crossroads Children’s Ministry. Our classrooms provide age-appropriate learning resources, which helps the children to become more comfortable and self-confident within their own classroom, and prepares them to explore all areas of the center including the outdoor playground.
